My name is Brianne and I am a certified Math (middle and high school) and Science (middle school) teacher. I taught for four years in a public middle school in North Carolina before moving to Puerto Rico for an international teaching experience. I taught an additional four years in grades 7-12 at a private school as the Head of Middle and High School Mathematics.
In 2010 my husband (who I met in Puerto Rico) and I had our first child and I decided to stay at home with our son. That's when Breeze Through Math was first started. I opened my own at-home tutoring business and filled my schedule with students from various private schools in our area. I was fortunate enough to be able to choose my clientele and ended up with a wonderful group of students that I tutored one-on-one. My students' comprehension and test grades soared! In 2011 my husband and I learned that we were expecting twins and I continued my business through November when the twins were born. At that point I had to shut down shop as we had a 17 month old and newborn twins and we decided we needed to move back to North Carolina to be closer to family.

Since then I have decided to pursue my true love of supplemental material creation and am currently offering projects, worksheets, games and lesson plans (mostly for math) for sale on TeachersPayTeachers. I'm also available for math consulting work although I won't truly focus on that until after our children are in school. I hope that you enjoy my website and the materials I have created.
